spot check a good enzyme carpet cleaner use buffer and then a steam cleaner to rinse & to suck out all the emulsified soil hang to dry either deoderizer or scotch guard are optional if u don't have equipment u can use hard bristled nylon brush w/ your cleaning solution and a dry terrycloth towel to rub out soil and even hose it down while hanging to dry cleaning like this by hand is very work intensive but quite effective

The most important factor in maintaining and preserving carpets is to keep them clean.

Dirt and contamination not only diminish their beauty and appearance but also cause damage to them. It’s obvious that carpets with a light background and high pile or those that are exposed to dirt and wear need to be cleaned more often.

The best way to get rid of dust, grit and dirt is to clean the carpets with normal hand brooms.

They need to be cleaned on a special machine that is designed for cleaning the rugs. You can do it yourself using normal laundry detergent and water. This is very time consuming and the most important thing is to get all the water out. Water left in the carpet will cause mold to grow and ruin the rug.

JUST USE A DAMP CLOTH TO WIPE WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED.
