It depends on how many hands they are ( how tall the are ). A average shetland pony weighs about 600- 700 pounds. Sometime they are overweight and weigh more. ponys have a tendency to be overweight. A shetland pony averages 10-12 hands. A hand is 4 inches.

I know a lot about Shetland ponies. Depending on size and type they should weigh between 200 and 500 pounds.

my fat thourghbred wieghs about 1500 pounds. your shetland pony should somewhere between 500 to 700 pounds. or you could take a tapemeasure for animals and see how big the horse is around the withers or stomach and that might give you an estimate.

no-one can actually put a weight on a pony!!!! From my experience with horses - most of the shetlands weigh more than a horse - theyre all fat little feckers!! Why do you want to know if you dont mind me aksing1!?

Here are some changes that you can incorporate into your life now that will take some weight off, and more importantly keep it off.
Drink more water
Don't drink any soda, even diet soda has a lot of sodium [salt] which will keep water in your body.
Eat more fruits and veggies, less processed food and fatty meat.
