The textual form may be less pleasant to read and would contain only text information without pictures or grahical links to other related information.

Textual form means nothing more than "in words." Instead of using fancy graphics and pictures, you use plain text.
Just remember the old addage, "A picture is worth a thousand words." For example, seeing just 1 picture from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina said it all. There was widespread devastation!

Like everything else in Mathematica the textual forms of expressions can themselves be represented as expressions. Textual forms that consist of one-dimensional sequences of characters can be represented directly as ordinary Mathematica strings. Textual forms that involve subscripts, superscripts and other two-dimensional constructs, however, can be represented by nested collections of two-dimensional boxes.
A method and system for compiling a grammatical form of an object-oriented database into an intermediate form of that database. The grammatical form is a persistent form of an object-oriented database expressed in a human-readable and human-editable textual form according to a grammar. The textual form is parsed into a series of tokens. The tokens are compiled into a plurality of entries. The plurality of entries are expressed in an intermediate form. The intermediate form comprises an array of intelligent entry objects which encapsulate data with methods for manipulating that data. The methods include creating a database entry, creating a property associated with an entry, creating an attribute associated with an entry or property, querying the last entry, property, or attribute created, and finalizing entry storage. The intermediate form lacks the infrastructure of the database, but the intermediate form can be used to populate the object-oriented database with entries. The object-oriented database is an object-oriented configuration database which stores configuration parameters pertaining to the software and hardware of a computer system, such as application programs, device drivers, system services, and other components. The object-oriented database is platform-independent and is therefore configured to be hosted on several different operating systems and computing platforms.

salam alaikum, first of all your comparision of the word bicycle and chocolate with jihad and struggle .. is wrong. since you mention language here, i am going to tell you a little about language first. the word chocolate had been derived from many different words and had no relation to the word bicyle. the word bicyle mean 2 cycles .. so there is no connection what so ever. and .. the word jihad meaning striving or struggle .. have the same over-all meaning when translated. thus, having some connection. so comparing the two cases would be nothing more than stupidity. the word "جاهد" means to strive. when it is used in religious context, it means to strive for your religion. now this depends on the way you look at it. when you hear the word strive or struggle what do you understand? .. surely, if you are not blinded by the media, you will think that it means to just plain "work hard" to attain something. i don't see where this has any connection with combatting with weapons. if that is the case well, i can tell you right now that the word "glue gun" means killing someone with glue coated bullets .. haha! secondly, it not like we regular Muslims are trying to misguide people. its just that we see the obvious .. unlike some people who try to spread hatred by taking things too extreme. when the word jihad is mentioned everyone just jumps up like its something so violent. sheesh.. i dont see how you feel that its misguiding .. because .. personal struggle is good .. because we all should strive to better ourself according to the Quran. Allah taa'la doesnt tell us to kill people .. He tells us to spread His word, to be good people. if you think that by twisting the words of the Quran and Hadith you can create monsters .. then wallah you punishment will be from Allah. if you are a Muslim, which i doubt that you are, you would know that in the incident of Taif, our Prophet (peace be upon him) could have asked Allah to punish them but he chose to pray for those people to be forgiven and subhan'Allah, he was rewared for that. you think this same religion would teach you how to kill and torture non-muslims? .. and reward you for fighting? no. infact in Islam, there is reward for making peace between two fighting people. there is reward for smiling you think this same religion will propogate such hatred? i dont know what your main aim is here, but i suggest you get yourself to the right path by reading the Quran. and seeing how much good is there. some people are just blind to the goodness of anything .. and only concentrate on somethings alone. see the whole picture. wake up and stop brain-washing yourself and others.
