This has happened to me. For the first 17 years of my life my 'double' woke up next to me - my twin sister! At first we seemed to be almost exact copies (though never clones) but as our personalities developed, subtle differences crept in. Interestingly, those differences were complimentary - strengths, not weaknesses, in our relationship. We have never been anything else but the best of friends, despite very occasional arguments. I love her so much, I would give my life to save her, and she would do exactly the same for me. There's no question of choosing between one or the other.
In later years we have matured enough to recognise our faults. Well, when you see your mirror image throwing a wobbly, you can't deny that's just how horrible you are too! It's not nice, but it really helps you grow up. One time, after her son had wound her up like a corkscrew before leaving for school, I had the temerity to advise her on handling him differently. She exploded at me! First time ever! I said not a word and off she stormed. Before the day was out, though, we'd sorted it, kissed and made up. She thanked me for the advice and I promised never to offer it uninvited again!
Last year my twin had a dream about me. She dreams about me all the time, but this was different. For once she could not remember it but knew it was unsettling. Something was wrong. So, in the wee small hours, she prayed for me. About four hours later, many miles away, I started having a prolonged heart attack. But when I was in hospital I felt at peace. And, of course, she rushed up to visit me once she knew what had happened. Our bond is unique; very special. Thank you, God, for giving me such a caring, darling sister.

This is a brilliant question. It makes each one of us think of what type of person we really are.
At first thought, I would love it. I am always able to help another with their problems, but either I can't figure out a damn thing when it comes to my own, or it takes me a lifetime to figure it out. With another me, I could get the advice for myself that I give to others with such an open mind.
However, now I am feeling like I would be using that other me just like I feel used by those that come to me with the simplest issues (in my mind). I find it irritating at times. So I would probably end up annoying my other self.
Now I'm confused.

I think it is best to have a friend that completes you rather than just a copy of you. Although having a clone would be fun. I'd put her to iron my clothes and do all the housework while I'd be just sitting around.

If its an exact copy of me, we would have same personality etc so we would be best mates. If it was an opposite of myself we would fight like cat and dog.

As I am not gay there is no way another me would wake up next to me! Or even as a flat mate!

Me and myself ought to do countless issues mutually. we decide for the comparable movies, comparable places... yet we'd have countless issues and arguments like scuffling with for the comparable woman, searching for the comparable issues... and advantageous after a mutually because it would grow to be uninteresting existence devoid of greater alterations.

I think I would hate me. You know they say that things you find irritating in others are often aspects of yourself you dislike? Well, the other you would be full of all the things you dislike in yourself. It wouldn't go well.

hehe nice question I aren't sure I like myself as it is, so would another "me" like me?.... not likely, but as to which of us deserves to continue on, if we're both made of the same stuff, I doubt either of us deserve to continue on so it makes no difference which you choose (as long as the other stays alive)...
another good question is, would a replica clone of me created today know what I had for breakfast yesterday?

It would be weird.
We would have many arguments, but love each other.
We'd argue about everything.
If I could choose the "real me", I'd choose the other one.
