In this case, there were many U.S college professors who were saying the "terrorists" are right and fighting for a right cause. Are these guys bored teaching or what?

Here's a better question ... if all of these well-educated and intelligent people say that US foreign policy is wrong, who is more likely to be right: them or some puddin' head on Yahoo! Answers?

College professors always side with the US opposition for the same reason they became college professors. They can't get a real job where they have to interact with mature people, so they spout off every left wing bit of nonsense because they have a captive audience. Most, not all college professors are brain dead and and can't hold their end of an argument without shouting, racists within the first five minutes.

Many college professors are part of the liberal "literati", that is, they are moving in circles of people who are well educated and are in the habit of very free discourse on all political subjects. Regardless of what you've read somewhere, the vast majority of scholars and professors do not support the terrorist view. I'll bet even a majority of Moslem scholars (at American universities) do not support the terrorist agendas and methods.

It's true that most college professors are lefties. If they weren't, why would they be in the education business anyway? They'd be out there opening small companies like good republicans, not teaching snotty teenagers.

Most proffessors are learned people who look at things through a historical and world viewpoint. Therefore they tend to see things a little differently then those who watch the Fox 6 o clock edition.

There are thousands of college professors. You only saw those on TV, etc., because they are going AGAINST the norm here. They can think whatever they want to - that doesn't mean they are right. Most people in the US that know about these professors think they are nuts and want to kick their butts!

Good question.
Many college professors were poor little rich hippies during the 60's & 70's. Their life style was group sex, taking drugs, and hating America.
They went into the teaching field (easiest) and they still hate America.
