Near as I can tell it all started with the French being exceptionally poor sports and constantly insulting the Italians and the Italians answering back.
Its the same thing over and over and over again, Cheaterazzi, Scumeratti, divers, bribers, cheaters. None of it makes a bit of sense and they hang on to the same foolish notions as if their lives depended on it.
Italy won fair and square. Zizou attacked another player and got a red card, and if the ref heard what that player said the most Marco would have gotten was a yellow card anyway. It didn't matter one bit cuz we won in a shootout and nailed all 5 goals. A shootout that should never have been because the French took the worst dive I have ever seen to get a penalty kick.
I just shake my head and laugh at the pathetic people on here. What I and others Italian supporters do is fire back, and I take personal pleasure in knowing that I am infuriating the most vile elements of this forum who constantly swear and hurl insults with regularity.

I'm not sure what was said, so it's hard to comment. Things can get a bit "rude" in Yahoo!, I'll agree. There are a few in here who can't seem to answer any questions without being insulting or stupid. I'm just glad that I don't have to know those people. It's just amazing what some people will say just because they can hide behind their anonymity! My advise to you is just to get over it. Get a thicker skin. It bugged me too at first, now I just chalk it up to their immaturity or ignorance.
In this category, you're going to get quite a bit of rudeness from people in the U.S. because we're not as fanatic about soccer as other parts of the world. We just don't care like you do. And it's easy to "vent" against soccer fans. Sad, but true.

Well, first of all, on internet forums some are bound to take advantage of their anonymity to just do anything they want without taking responsibility. In the WC forum in particular... well, it's something very emotional to many people, thus they may not always maintain objectivity or even civility.
Just be optimistic. Ignore the junky answers. There are loads of folk who CAN mind their manners--like a lot of us who posted here.

I've notice that there are two groups of people. Those who are good at making friends in real life often suck at making friends on the internet and those who suck at making friends in real life and get TONS of emotional support on the internet.
One forum that shows this proof is Wrong Planet where either you get you're *** whopped or you get tons of emotional support.
Yes I am a believer in karmic debt but don't quite understand how it works but am noticing a lots of odds and ends.

Take the bunch of answers, put through a filter, like swan drinking milk (swan, the mythological bird, drinks only milk from a bowl of milk mixed with water, leaves the wateralone in the bowl!), enjoy the 'good'answers, ignore the irritants -- gain from the exchanges (Q's & A's)!

Maybe because you are a big dumbass. Sorry, I'm just kidding. People are mean in all of the sections on yahoo answers because you can't see them and you don't know who they are. They feel free to be mean without having to worry about getting thier butts kicked. And in general, the world is full of mean, rude people.

I totally agree with you, there are people in this forum that enjoy making other peoples lives miserable.The reason they get away with it is that they have more than one identity...sad but true!
