An underwire bra simply has a small strip of thin metal sewn into the seam around the cups for support as opposed to the types that only have fabric or elastic. You see them in any lingerie department. There is no way that they would cause cancer.

First of all, no, they do not cause breast cancer! Some dubious studies have shown a relation between wearing wired bras and breast cancer, but the so-called scientists failed to see that women over 30 (who are more likely to get breast cancer than young girls) tend to wear wired bras more often than young girls.
Wired bras are bras where, below the cups, there are two 'wires', sort of like semi-circles, that curve around the underside of the breasts to give more support.

No, that is a myth! Wired bra's do not cause breast cancer! Wired bra's are bra's that have wire inside the material to help support your breasts.

No, genetic problems and environmental toxins cause breast cancer. Wired bras are just bras that are reinforced with a wire in the key places that need it.

wire bras have a wire in the shape of a "c" sawn into the bra (is concealed) to give extra support. Common in B, C, D onwards cup bras.

I never heard that one before! Wire bras have an under wire that is most uncomfortable. I wouldn't wear that kind anyway.

wire bras are the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder that has an under-wire. It keeps the form of your breast nice and it gives girls like me with D's the extra support we need.

when you got boobs the size of footballs you need an under wire bra, i think the chances are very slim if it's true . I'd take the chance rather than having my footballs by my knees, just because of a story.

any metal or chemical used to make the bras causes cancer. Specially the transparent bras which are made of some plastic.
