It depends really, running can make you less wet than walking, considering that you are moving faster than you would be by walking. But It depends of how heavy the rain fall is, how quickly you get to shelter. How fast/heavy the rain is falling.. Running can make u get less wet then u would by walking, but u would still get wet.

U have two risks ... One .. U may get wet by rain when u r walking..By this u may get wet or ur clothes may get dirty
Other .. u may slip on the road due to running in the water.. by this u may hurt urself.
So which one would u like to choose dear???.. my advice to u is not to run even if u feel less rain by running...

It wouldn't make any difference if you walk or run through the rain, you still be as wet. That's why I use an umbrella during any rainy event.

Speaking of which, the rain has finally fallen here in Texas!!

Are you wearing a raincoat while running in the rain? Then you wont get wet whether you walk or run!!

Hope the "wet" here refers something related to rain water!!!

It all depends on how long it rains for, if it rains for 5 mins and it takes you 4 mins to walk home You get just as wet if you run, only you get wetter quicker.

It seems one is less wet if you run in the rain, this would depend on how hard it is raining and how close you are to shelter.

Same questions was asked two days back. Use your eyes to find all the answers (like in "Search for Questions"). Meanwhile, it makes not the slightest difference whether you walk, run or pop in for a pee on the way. You get just as wet.

They actually carried out an experiment on Brainiac.

They covered a couple of brainiacs in sponges and got them to do a couple of lengths of of a track, one running and one walking then measured the water content of each.

I can't remember the result for certain, wouldn't want to guess as it's only 50/50. I think running was better.

Perhaps this will jog a few memories, Jon tickle must be interested in something like Answers.

It depends on the location you are going to. How far is it?

and it depends on the speed (power) of the rain.

Running a small distance againsy small amount of rain will make you less wet than walking!!!

Against a stronger, 'chucking it down' rain.... it probably wont make any difference if you walked or ran!!!!

Generally speaking, you will literally hit more rain when running. There are many variables (length of the rain time, distance you need to travel, available cover such as a hat, etc) so no definitive answer is available with the information you gave.
