Most people can name the greats from many generations ago: Mozart, Beethoven, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and many more. Do you think that there are any greats from our century that will be remembered like them?

I see most people have answered your question with popular musicians (such as the Beatles), but I assume you are asking about "art-music" composers--such as Beethoven and Mozart. To answer your question, yes, I believe there are several that will be remembered like them--so many, it is hard to narrow it down. I will keep my list to 15:

1. Stravinsky
2. Bartok
3. Schoenberg
4. Webern
5. Berg
6. Ives
7. Hindemith
8. Copland
9. Adams
10. Britten
11. Bernstein
12. Gershwin
13. Messiaen
14. Poulenc
15. Crumb

Only time will tell, however!

I sincerely believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is always around and is omnipresent. He is constantly refining our gifts from God and that is art to the nth degree in my estimation. He also said, I am the alpha and the omega.
