No, the minute they become self sufficient and stop blaming the rich(mommy and daddy) for all their problems, they stop being liberals. They are rebellious like a child throwing a temper tantrum. "Whaaa whaaa whaaa, daddy makes me do the chores. Mommy refuses to give me free condoms. I can't have the Mexican neighbors over to mow the grass. Mommy and daddy are Nazi monkeys!"

I don't understand this attitude behind your question. Most Conservatives base their idea of a Liberal on an interpretation of 30 years ago. No longer is Liberalism viewed as a different idea to Conservatism but Conservatism is being touted as "right" with stresses placed on the Christianity which supposedly underpins it whereas Liberalism is seen to be "wrong" because it clashes with the views of the Conservative. They are no longer just opposing ideas but as good and evil.
Your question also highlights the very problem of name-calling that seems to exist in both camps with neither seeming to want to come to a solution and where each camp is more content to vilify the other. Both approaches do no good as they provide no solution where it matters most - for the people.
Generalisations and stereo-typing are two of the biggest hindrances to effective communication and solutions.
Your attitude is exactly the reason that the other party acts the way it does - you live in a symbiotic relationship which you contribute toward. For every reaction there is an equal and positive reaction. Think about that the next time either side decides that it's better to call names than to provide a real solution.

What's up with youth (hopefully. I'd hate to think somebody reached the age of 25 with such narrowness of perspective) generalizing people such? All renters? The guy in the picture with the yellow line scribbled through it is married to a billionaire! George Soros is considered very liberal (a supporter of the guy with the yellow line in the last presidential election) and is having a hard time finding enough ways to give his fortune away. We all agree that, all in all, the conservative party in the United States (Repub.) is the party of money generally, but this does not mean that "liberals" are not corrupted by money too. Give 'em some credit.

What I don't like is violent crime and intimidation - is rap music liberal or conservative? Well the attitudes are right wing but the artists defended by the liberals. Drug dealers are ultra capitalist, but the libs want to treat them nice and easy.
This shows that there are no clear cut boundariies and that both sides are far from perfectly consistent.

It's because they never get a job and stand on their own two feet. So they never mature.
The government becomes their mommies and daddies even until they go into nursing homes.
