The person is lazy, uneducated (I'm in college, he's not), has no manners, feels the use of manipulation is an effective tool to be used to get what he wants, he's dramatic, and always has an excuse for everything. Not to mention, he's always broke and asking me for money. I just don't feel this environment is going to be condusive to my studying or anything else. What should I do?

Yes, as other said, you should

A) Move out or get rid of him.

B) Straighten him out, and tell him to get a good job or education.

C) Don't lend him money, tell him to get a life and job , or education.

D) None of the above, kill him :)

I really hope this helps dude. Just try to be patient and understanding. Teach him manners, either your way or the highway.

Advertise at your college for a roommate, or go speak to the acommodation office there. Other people will have spaces or have fallen out with their roomies and you'll be able to find somewhere cheap with a fellow student.

you have two choices.

you move out, or he moves out.

who found the apartment or where every your living, who's name is on all of the bills.

i just had a similar situation happen to me. in my case i told her it wasn't working out and because i found the apartment, did all the work to get it and moved in first, that i deserved it.

but if you don't have any justification for him to move out and you to stay then you should just move, its better to get away from him isn't it?
