Social contract theory is the duty of the government to protect its citizens from external and internal threats, to provide shelter, infrastructure and education. The divine right theory means that the government should be governed by natural law wherein the state will be controlled by principles of nature with no deviation from it. A socialist government is an example of the social contract theory while a conservative government is an example of the divine right theory.

social contract: culture and society is formed around geo/socio/economic necessity

divine right: authority to govern is drawn from a supposedly unassailable outer force

divine right examples: monarchies, theocracies, technocracies (sort of), etc.

social contract: tribal, democratic, communist, etc.

Is that enough b.s.? I'm mainly guessing :)
