It's not a bad thing but it does mean you have to be extra careful during your conception because it could be very risky for the baby to be miscarried or born prematurely.

When pregnant,I carried our 2sons really low and with that I was advised not to carry heavy weights and not to stand on long hours.Lots of bedrest for me and I had to minimize too much work pressures.

o yuck, I carried really low too, can cause a lot more pain but other than that there are wives tales that it can determine the gender - usually boy I guess but my mom carried me low and my 2 brothers high, so its just a fun prediction kinda thing. You're going to have low back pain and I had horrible pelvic pain. Relief comes when you get a belly lifter, I got mine at babies R Us

I am carrying low as well. It doesn't mean anything. Might just have to do with the positioning of the baby.

It's not a bad thing. I carried both of my children incredibly low, and they were both boys. Not sure if this was just coincidence or an old wives tale.

I carried my last 3 pregnancies low & didn't have any problems... I did everything right up to the end.

BTW, I also had girls - b/g twins; girl; girl... Only with my first pregnancy did I carry high.

Alot of people would say its a boy. I think its just the way your body is. You have more room to fit the baby down low than up high in your body.

It doesn't mean anything as far as prediction of gender ... but it CAN mean more trips to the bathroom from your bladder being squished, ligament pains, pelvic floor soreness, and a bit more "waddlling" ... Have fun! I'm in the same boat (only 3 more weeks to go!)

Contrary to popular belief it means absolutely nothing. Not that it's a boy. Not that your at a higher risk for anything. It means you are pregnant and are carrying low.

Congratulations and best of luck to you!

It doesn't mean anything and is not a determining factor of what sex it is or anything. It's just how your body's made.
I carry my babies really low and so far I've only had girls.
