Severs, both waiters and waitresses are subjected to abuse every day. People feel a need to flirt and because the server is working for tips, he or she must be at least polite, even when it is obvious that the sexual interest is not being returned.

So you can smile fully at your waiter, you can make some polite chatter with him and see if he goes out of his way to engage you, but he knows it if he's cute, and he doesn't need another leering jerk to make a pass at him, that he'll have to try to craftily dodge, or risk losing his tip (call it his salary, because that's what tips are to a server). Be nice to the guy, but for God's sake, leave him be.

Hello!! :o) If it were ME - I wouldn't use the word 'cute'. It's too flirtatious and might make him unnecessarily uncomfortable. If I were to say anything at all - I might say, "You're a good looking guy!!" It's more of a standard compliment. It's also less threatening. [Which is good IF the waiter is more 'reserved'] You would still get your message across without appearing as though you're coming on to him. That said... if the opportunity comes up - it's never inappropriate to compliment someone. Craig!! :o)

Actions speak louder than words!. Don't bother saying anything, just grab him in your arms and kiss him. Then before he has a chance to object flash the 2 first class tickets to a Hawaii and give him the gold rolex watch that you just happened to buy the day before while saying ... "Life's short .... but it can be interesting, lets go back to your place and pack a bag"

;-)

YES, you should say that, you only get one chance to live, so make it worth it, what is the worst that could happen, he could give you a dirty look and say hes not gay, like that is anything to fret about, go and do it, he might like you too :)

i have several gay waiter friends. many days a guy flirting with them was the only good thing that happened!
you can leave a card with your name and cell number with the tip. if he's gay/bi and interested, he'll call. if not ,no harm done.

Go for it before you regret not having him. Just make sure he's gay, or even bi-curious. But don't let him go away, and then in the future you regret that. Believe me, it's a rare chance.
