We use numbers to denote only solid things. Thus, we say one table or two computers. For liquids and gases, we do not say one water or two chlorines. Instead, it is 5Kg of chlorine or two liters of alcohol. God is far more ethereal than any liquid or gas and so how can we say that there is only one god?

You know about holograms? Take a hologram, cut it in half and you have two holograms, each with the same "image" but each with 1/2 the resolution of the original. Cut each one again, and your now have four, each with 1/4 the resolution of the original. Take God, and all humans made in his image, and each human has 1/Earth's popultation...maybe 1/6.3 billion, or something like that. Then consider the number representing all creation and you get a fairly good sense not only of the immensity of the One whose resolution, diminshed by some fantastic fraction, continues to provide faith, hope and charity in no less perceptual amount than was originally ordained. So, how can we say there is only one God...we can say it because at some vastly distance past, all the human cutups that now exist, are desendants from a sngle, original life form that had a much higher resolve than possible today. That physical presence, being nearer the creator and having higher resoultion, still was billions and billions of steps down from a Point of Origin...the Oneness we call God. No, this is not proof there ever was a God, but you asked "how we can say it." That is my answer.

There are similiarities of features for any category of living or non living things with few diffrences like that of colour, volume of hairs, furs etc. Man was the creation of one individual that is single god if one have faith in him. Otherwise also evolutionists must be realising that there is some common force which is responsible for evolution of the things. All human beings have two legs, two hands, and there are similiarities among many of diffrent forms of life such as two nostrils, two eyes, single head, mouth etc. It seems that a single entity invented almost common models and created the living things. The arrangement of the things also suggest that there is only one God who created everything.

gasses and liqiuds are specified by volume and weight due to the staggeringly large number of molecules in a unit of volume no one wants to write that many 0's red herring arguement

there is only one god what you have conviently forgotten is that you operate in only 3 dimensions and cannot be 2 places at one time on the other hand.... god unlike yourself does not have this hadicap therefore god as a single entity is capable of operating in 2 places (with perhaps wildy differential manifestations) simultaneously thus fooling some of the weaker minded mortals into believing in seperate existences of himself, herself, itself whatever you prerfer

We can say there is only one God because God is one. This means that there is one Absolute Truth, the spiritual singularity that is the source of all material and spiritual manifestations. Its not possible to qualify or quantify the Absolute Truth using our imperfect senses. All attempt to understand the Supreme with material faculties with be a futile attempt.

Not to say that you are right or wrong, but the idea behind God, or a bunch of gods, is that he/they, are all powerful. But that would lead me to believe that if there are multiple gods, they are not all powerful. Instead they are merely like comparing us to bugs, and that would mean there is still a greater force at hand... The God.

first, Allah is beyond seeing or hearing so u cannot compare ALLAH(SWT) to any other thing. the whole point here is refering to monotheism of God.
There is a verse in Holly Qur'an means that if there were more than one God, world would had been destroyed, coz each of them could had seperate with his part whch means conflict between Gods which is not acceptable.

I try to be a good Christian. It takes a lot of daily prayer and true self examination. Also, and this is very important to truly examine myself, I read and study the greatest book ever written. Perhaps it would help if you would think in terms of the "Godhead" which is of couse our Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit of God.

You take the words "There, is, only, one, God", you put them together in the mentioned order and you say it: "There is only one God".
I hope that you are very young (a teenager). If so, then you'll make a fine scientist one day.

Every person has his/her own God. Different people imagine God in different ways. So, a lot of people can say that God is one.

If you have one bottle of red wine and share it between ten people did the wine come from one or ten

It came from one of course but it just got divided

We come from one, that one has been shared amongst all so we could all have a taste...

simplest way of putting it
