She's good, but I hate her screaming and grunting during games. It's not good etiquette! She wins because she distracts her opponent with all that noise.

1. I have to say Andy Murray because he won the Olympics which is a grand achievement but also he reached 2 Grand Slam finals simultaneously. If I had to go for a close second I would say Roger because he has achieved a lot this year with regaining no. 1 and winning Wimbledon his first slam in over 2 years. 2. I think she will definitely win Wimbledon again as well as the Australian Open. She may also win another US Open so I will say another 6 more. 3. Ironically it's Wimbledon starring Kirsten Dunst who plays Mary Jane in some of the Spiderman movies. It's a great film about love and determination. 4. I would have to say Novak and Rafa because all the other pairings you mentioned actually hate each other. 5. Mens: US Open - Murray vs Djokovic - I chose this as first because obviously Murray won and I am a Murray fan and it was one of the only times in sporting history that I actually shed a tear or two. Australian Open - Rafael Nadal vs Novak Djokovic. Wimbledon - Murray vs Federer. French Open - Nadal vs Djokovic Womens: US Open - Serena vs Azarenka Wimbledon - Serena vs Radwanska Australian Open - Azarenka vs Sharapova French Open - Sharapova vs Errani 6. I would definitely coach Kim Clijsters. 7. Definitely Laura Robson because she is much more consistent and powerful then Watson is. 8. Well despite her being retired if I would have to improve Kim Clijsters game I would probably work on her groundstrokes because they have seemingly weakened towards the end of her career. 9. Well yes I still think he would have won because the surface wouldn't change dramatically and besides Nadal has reached pretty good form of late in January so I would see no problems for him. 10. No because it makes the women's game unique it just being out of 3 sets. It would be boring if every match was 5 sets because they can be a pain in the **** to watch.

Who cares if Maria Sharapova is pretty or a great tennis player when her sour disposition, boring personality, lack of graciousness, and overly competitive nature override all of her positive attributes.

Why hate her? do not loose your energy. I do not like her because she looks preppy and selfish, I do not like her scramming either, but I can not find a reason to hate her.

not me. she's a good player and she's pretty too. oh, and russians are just a tad bit too noisy, so that's probably the reason for all that screaming

i find it HILARIOUS how it is predominantly women who hate maria sharapova and the men who love her!
women, obviously are jealous of her looks and celebrity status. men, of course, want to do her.
i can't see how a tennis players who is one of the top 5 players in the world (and has remained there) can be doubted or have her integrity questioned. let's face a few things. the professional athlete's climate has changed today. large corporations aren't merely looking for a great talent to put their money behind. they want something more. and maria has is that "it" factor that others simply do not. she's got skill on the court. she's got glamour off the court . she's the whole package.
of course it won't last. the typical career of a professional athlete averages 10, maybe, 15 years. i think she should ride her wave of success and stardom as long as she can.
damn the haters and nay-sayers.
you are all just as superficial as you accuse maria of being.

u can't say that!!! she's a great tennis player no doubt about that!!
and she doesn't grunt purposely it's her way of building intensity and stamina and demonstrating she's giving it a 100% while on the court!!
