i feel bacteria wont survive if there is absolutely no water on a smooth surface like marble

There are bacteria that can survive anywhere so drying something will not get rid of them.
Also, even if you manage to 100% dry something, which in normal household conditions is impossible, moisture in the air will wet it again immediately.

Bacteria are EVERYWHERE, on every surface, on your skin, in your mouth, and so on... there's absolutely no way in the world you could get rid of them. But that's no problem, because most bacteria can't harm us, they're just there. They survive. Bacteria can survive in volcanic vents and under 2km of rock. Being dry has nothing to do with it.

bacteria is everywhere. even after you take bath they are there.so you cannot expect that they wont be on dry marble floors.

The best way is to disinfect frequently besides keeping the floow dry.
