Thats like asking, how can all of this be if no one designed it? We may never truly know. All you can do is either believe, or realize the possiblilities of how it all may have happened, or believe no one created anything.

The two genders species would be stronger when dealing with diseases, so they had a better chance of survival in the pre-historic environment. Ie. evolution takes care of it.

It's kind of simple, if you want to come up with a logical answer. May be you could try it once in a while, because not everything has to be explained by miracles of a supernatural god.

There is definitely a 'method in the madness' that governs the creation. Whether it is an intelligent design, or a series of events that evolves in an intelligent fashion, there is a logic, discernible. In creation, there is both a fixed law, a sort of destiny, as well as free will that was in constant operation. Destiny does not operate in a blind and mechanical fashion but the higher providence exercised his discretion, a sort of a grace to depart from the fixed code of destiny. The genetic code is not fixed in replication. It mutates over a period of time, in the face of constant counter forces in operation.

Some organisms still reproduce asexually, but in general it cannot compete with sexual reproduction because in sexual reproduction new combinations of genes can be assembled on the same chromosomes. The genetic variations that arise from this enable a species to overcome environmental changes more quickly. For example, if human reproduced asexually, we would almost all be clones of each other. The only variations would be due to genetic mutations during the reproductive process (copying errors), which are relatively rare. The species as a whole would be highly vulnerable to any genetic problems or weaknesses. We’ve seen the problem with this when farmers in a large region all plant the same crops. A single disease can run rampant and wipe out the entire crop. With sexual reproduction, we get a lot more individual variation, since each person gets a unique combination of genes. This makes us, as a species, more like a diverse forest, rather than a forest of all the same kind of tree. Diversity is extremely important in biological evolution because it builds genetic strength and resilience within species, and sexual reproduction promote genetic diversity.

As for why the male and female compliment each other so well: This seems to follow naturally from the fact that the human species survived BECAUSE male and female evolved together and complimented each other well enough to reproduce and adapt to a variety of environments (from the tropics to the arctic circle). Any species in which the sexes did not compliment each other well would simply not survive in the long run.

There are numerous books, websites, and journal articles on the origins of sexual selection, if you are genuinely curious to know more of the details, the information is easily available. I’ve pasted a link to one example below (which took me about 10 seconds to find with a simply internet search).

I get the impression, however, that you don’t think evolution can account for human existence. On this broader philosophical subject, I will just make this comment. I partially agree with you, but I want to point out that the attempts to debunk the theory of evolution in favor of intelligent design typically fail because the opponents of evolution rarely take the time to really study the theory, and generally don’t even understand the nature of scientific inquiry. It is easy to find unsolved problems in evolution – that is what makes it a dynamic science rather than a static listing of known facts. But unsolved problems rarely serve to overthrow an entire theory. Theories adapt to new data and new logical arguments. The biochemical understanding of living processes are well enough understood nowadays that we can say with virtual certainty that biological evolution is a simple fact of life. If you want to find philosophical argumentation in favor of a divine being or energy beyond the physical realm, I would suggest focusing on philosophy of mind. Unlike the biological processes of living systems, which we understand in greater and greater detail every day, questions about the origins and nature of mental phenomena are so puzzling that there basically are NO widely accepted theories of mind, especially concerning what David Chalmers calls “the hard problem” of consciousness. Physical science can, in principle, explain everything that we need to know about the behavior of biological organisms, including humans. But why does it FEEL like anything to be alive? Why don’t all of our biochemical processes simply do everything they do without there being anything that it actually feels like to be in pain, fall in love, etc? These are the really tough issues that are completely unresolved in scientific terms. We barely even know how to being asking the question (despite some incredible advances in brain science, especially neural network theories). We know that biological evolution happens, but we have no idea how or why consciousness occurs.

We're NOT 'just evolving' without any supernatural intervention. God created man as man is. The way that HUMANS evolve is from birth to death.

The BEST way to evolve is to be born again, from death to life, through excepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Then when the human evolves all the way to physical death, he crosses over to what God always intended him to be!

If it is intelligent design how do you explain the suffering and chaos in this world? If there is an intelligent design then who designed the intelligent designer?

It is stupidity to contemplate over such irrational question while the ground reality is different than that of your hypothetical thinking and possibility of such evolution without the supreme power is impossible according to our present knowledge.

Call it intelligence, call it God, it is still true that I didnot dare to design such a complex world.
