Could anyone enlighten me?

I just watched the omen, yeah kinda late, but way was it cool. But there was one particualr scene ehich i did not understand, nor does my friends. It the scene where Mr Thorn and that photographer are at this snow-covered-cemetry-like place where they find 2 tombs. What was the purpose of those tombs and what is Mr Thron trying to say?

I haven't seen the remake and it's been awhile since I've seen the original, so bear with me.

If memory serves (and it occassionally does), they were at the cemetary looking for the graves of Mr. Thorn's REAL baby and Damien's REAL "mom".
