It's not helpful to anyone to call thin women 'lollipops'. Firstly, some women are thin due to this little thing called HEALTHY EATIING- they either don't eat the pies and Big Macs that many people seem to eat and they do a reasonable amount of exercise or they are lucky enough to be able to eat a bit of what they fancy without putting much weight on. Other people who don't have their willpower are envious and so they resort to private name-calling, which is pathetic when you are an adult. Most people don't realise how much junk they eat- cut out convenience foods for a start- even supposedly healthy ones aren't as healthy as eating fresh food.
Some women do use other unhealthier methods when they would be better simply following a healthy diet.
For every woman who is too thin (in developed countries anyway), there are far, far, more who are too fat. It is diseases/conditions caused by obesity which kill far more people in the developed world than being thin yet we don't see Dawn French's face on the front of every newspaper saying she is a bad role model do we?
It's an example of the majority picking on a relative minority again and it's mostly not out of genuine health concerns- it's primarily out of envy.

The girl needs to eat some pies! Though healthy food is obviously the best! Nicole's look; it's not healthy, it's not sexy, it's definitely not big (in all ways possible), and it's not clever.
I know that Britain in particular is going through an obesity crisis at the moment, but Nicole is no role model. Noone should aspire to be that thin. We need role models with a bit of meat on them...normal women!
Bring back normal!

What a shame!!! There was a stage when she was looking really good, not too thin, not fat. Then she overstepped the barrier. Soooo not sexy at the mo. Which hot-blooded male would want to be with her??? She looks like a walking skeleton. Where is her daddy to take care of her now??? For goodness sake. SOMEBODY do something for the poor girl before she pulls a Karen Carpenter on us

Nicole Ritchie is now too thin.
In this weeks Star magazine it shows you pictures of her on the beach its horrible you can see her ribs!
I also heard she is now too skinny too have kids .
She needs to put on some weight otherwise she could end up having a heart attack i also think she would be a great mom so she also needs to put on some weight for that.

Yes I think she's too thin and you're right, she looks sick because of it! What on Earth happened to the vuluptuous, bubbly, and healthy-looking Nicole Richie that we used to watch in the earlier seasons of The Simple Life? I just hope she recovers and look as good as she used to!

I think she's a bit too thin, but Big Mac would do no good to her either, she should put on a bit of weigh and then in my opinion she would look better..

I think she was a bit too fat before. Then when she began losing the weight, she got to a stage where I thought she really looked cool. But now, she's just lost everything and she looks like Paris's dog!

She looks awful! she needs one of them new Burger king Burgers that contain the equivelant fat to 15 bags of crisps,one of them a day and she will soon look normal!
The problem is that people that rich are surrounded by 'yes' men than constantly tell you what you want to hear and I bet all of her so called friends are telling her she looks good.
She won't look so good in a coffin which is where she will end up if she carries on not eating!

I can't belive there are people out there that think that she doesn't look ill !!
There are 1000's of girls out there that think they have to look like her and will end up harming their bodys trying to look like her but she's a coke head - jeez - anyone who can't even fit into a bikini without it hangin loose needs some food inside them - saying that I bet she pukes it all up again !
If I had a choice of her or lets say.... ANYONE that isn't that thin - I'd go for the girl with a bit of somthing to grab hold of...
I'd be scared of snapping her --- eeeeewww !

definatly too thin yes. Its a shame how some celebrities feel the pressure to loose weight drastically. Hope she puts some beef on before its too late
