I am a pregnant mother of a 23 month old girl, and I don't know if I really want to know the sex of this baby. Boy or Girl, I would love them the same! Should find out or not? What do you think?

It's up to you, I am also pregnant and have a 17 month old girl. The reason I am going to find out in 2 weeks time is because it will help me to prepare for either one. Of course, I don't care if it's a boy or girl, but if it's a girl, I am safe, I have so so so many clothes etc. If it's a boy, I will sort out which clothes are unisex that I can use for him, then try to get things on sale for when he is born. I received so many yellow and green clothes when I was pregnant with my first, that I am sick of those colors and will go out and buy blue if it's a boy.

I think finding out is more a convienience, not a judgement on what you will think, ie dissapointed if it's one or the other. Good Luck, I hope it all goes well for you, girl or boy, healthy is all that matters.

These are some fun ways you can get an idea, apparently I am having a boy, but I will know in 2 weeks.

If you don't care, leave it a surprise! I did. I didn't care much for the yellow and green clothing at first, but then when I had a girl, I had an excuse to go out shopping, to buy some girlie pink things, of course!

But if you would like to be more prepared ahead of time, with clothes or the bedroom and stuff, then you could find out. But I think you should wait!

I didn't for both my kids. I kinda knew. I was having terrible pimples( which I don't have when not pregnant) and was emotional when I was carrying my girl. I was told that. I basically looked like crap. When I was carrying my son, I glowed! Really. I was told it would be a boy. And it was. I think being surprised is much nicer then finding out before it is born. But that's just me.
Peace.

In my view as muslim it is "Haraam" to know the sex of your baby because what you will do after this?you may want boy and you found girl or vis var .the main thing is that you can not and you are no one to change/make the future/life of any one so what ever God is giving you take it .if we people keep doing this one day it will become wish shope(you like it take otherwise throw it)which will lead us to disaster.it will distrub the BALANCE OF NATURE.

when i got pregnant, i did not want to know the sex of my baby. to me it does not matter. boy or girl, i will love them the same. what is important is that they come out healthy and fine. hopefully, they will grow up to be good persons.

good luck and congrats!

If you don't want to know, then don't
Knowing or not knowing your baby sex doesn't make you a better or worse mom. You will still be a great mom.

I wanted to know with my two boys just because it makes it so much easier to pick out names, room decorations, clothes, etc before they're actually born.

From practical point of view, it is better to find out. But...not knowing is more kind of romantic, so to say.:) Wish you luck and health! To you and your baby!
