There's an old saying, "... behind every man is a good woman." Well if women are the stronger sex, then a female president just might be the instrument to make a change in our society. Women have long taken the back seat to men, who always seem to screw things up. Let's start putting our trust in God and Women for a change. We need more good women in high places, not just in the home, the bed or even the kitchen.

From my experience with a female President, not really much. Apparantly it didn't even foster sexual equality- since people immediately thought that it was achieved by the single action of voting a woman to presidency.
After all, only about a rough third of the politicians are women! That is clearly wrong! ;)

I think it would have little direct impact on my life because the President was a woman. This issue would be what are her political beliefs.

It really wouldn't. People think that a woman would "be compassionate against enemies" or "bomb a country every 28 days". This is pathetic, and not just because any woman anywhere close to being in presidential contention is over 50 years old.
A woman would do just as good of a job as President as a man. Who knows, she might even do better. I think it would do two things:
First, it would get a lot more women interested in politics. Many woman have political views, but don't vote. This may urge them to register. Then, hopefully, they would continue to vote after that.
Second, it would ease our country's political tensions with other countries. While we don't really "have anything to prove", I believe that a lot of countries would see that we're open to new possibilities, and new ways of thinking. Any ease in tension between the U.S. and the rest of the world will certainly help the world as a whole.

It would make talks and negotiations with Muslim nations tough because women dont have rights in these countries. I am surprised the Condy Rice is received by these countries like she is.
I think since Hillary was already the force behind the man, we dont need the Clintons again thats for sure.

I bear no prejudice against a woman president. I think Conty would make a good one and I would vote for her. But there is absolutely NO WAY I would ever ever ever vote for Hilary Clinton. I've had enough of the Clintons. 8 years was enough and the many many unethical things that BOTH Clintons were involved with was more than enough for me to have my fill of them.

Being president is not a gender question. We had two female presidents. The present one is accused of political assasinations and electoral fraud.
