A flag is the symbol of a nation and their society. In America, it is ONE nation and LARGE society. We DO NOT care the flag turned upside down or even burned. Only sensitive Americans do, and these Americans doesn't realize there is more important than a flag, and that is the FREEDOM to do whatever you want, burn, drag, spit on the flag at least you are FREE to do so.

when I was in London, UK, we put the flag on once (in order to honour a bank holiday)... and we made a mistake, because the british flag is a bit complicated one (larger stripes and narrow stripes etc etc), and they got so bloody mad about it. it was upside-down. We have received so many intimidated anonymus phone calls... and the day after, an Italian flag was missing... (we put it together with the british one, cause we were mostly italians there). so.... I can definetly tell - "the upside-down flag is a sign of danger".

I think they probably weren't paying attention when they raised the flag in the morning. Enough with the conspiracy theories!
