Australia have decided after 29 years in Canary yellow since they first introduced the world to cloured cricket uniforms, to switch to Green. Prompted by marketing buffoons at Adidas, the world champions will sport a new Green and Metallic Gold uniform for the upcoming VB series (vENG,NZ) and World Cup defense. I personally think it's a mistake. Yellow is associated with Australia, there are no other yellow teams, but Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya, South Africa and Ireland will ALL be wearing Green. With half the other world cup teams wearing blue, it's going to be a much less colourful world cup.....
Agree, Disagree?

to Ma, although Brazil is an ICC member, they have never played a single ODI, so I really don't think it is a problem. As for the same colours, we have been Grren and Gold since the Ashes in 1877 - they are the colours of our national flower the Wattle. Brazil however, adopted Green and Gold in 1889 because they were the colours of the Royal House of Bragança (Emperor Pedro I) - So we have been using them 12 year LONGER than you - get your own colours!

You are right. Australia shouldn't have changed their uniform colours.
Because now it has become a color of victory or dominance.
Whenever I see yellow colour whether in cricket or in football i always think of a dominating team i.e Brazil in football and Australia in Cricket.

Australia is undoubtedly better cricketing team in the world now so their performance will not be affected by switching to another color ODI uniform....

So this question doesnt make any sense...They have all rights to do if they feel they wants to change the color of ODI uniform

Agree...yellow has always been an identification for the Aussies. and yes, half of the teams wears green. so it is not a good idea to use green outfits.

i think from time to time, ausralian management has introduced shades of colours ranging from green and yellow in jerseys. There have been times when cricket was played in white jerseys( i mean in odi's), which has certainly improved. the shades thus, on one hand, have brought freshness to cricket.

but the priority of cricket is quality of cricket" ...---A TENDULKAR PLAYING IN WHITE JERSEY IS BETTER THAN ASHISH NEHRA BATTING IN ATTRACTIVE JERSEY-----"
