Sadly, use of the jars marked Mr. Pooh as practical rather than civilized. As it happens, even if he'd owned flat ware it's doubtful he would have used it. No, Winnie, unique and wonderful bear that he was, had atrocious table manners, and ate straight from the vessel, often simply turning it up as if drinking while the overflow ran down his front. Poor master Robin was fairly run ragged keeping his friend in Wet Wipes.

Because its funner.
Or, perhaps Winnie holds a primal bear-like quality within him. Sure, he says what Christopher Robbins wants to hear, waddles around on adventures with the other animals trapped in the 100-acre woods, and even lets them dress him in a shirt.
But one day, when Robbins has his back turned, Pooh is gonna maul him, and people will say "Why did this foolish kid keep a bear for a pet?".
And no one will find the bear who killed him, because no one suspects THE STUFFED ANIMAL!

He had no fingers as far as I could tell, thus making it imposible for him to grip a spoon. Plus by using his hands Pooh would not have to constantly wash sticky spoons

Because honey is so slimmy you are not able to spoon it as it falls off the spoon however with his hands he can cup it and get alot more at one. Smart thinking and a great idea!!!

Surely he had tableware because he was the domestic-type and very well-brought up but the thing is that he was a diabetic and he suffered from a diabetes coma and thus he dashed for the honey jars before he fainted and delved into them with his bare hands, (sorry, claws).
