i think humans have a supressed preference toward public sex.
pornos, strip clubs, orgies, etc, all reflect the human tendency toward public sex.

Well, apes do not really have houses, and almost all primates are programmed to stick together in unfilmilar places (most apes are constantely on the move). Leading to having their "Love" in public, some apes like are closest relative, the bonobo, take sex as like a handshake, and it used for pleasure, calming down agression and other things.

I don't believe that humans were always ashamed of their nudity or of their love making,,I believe that the church is responsible for our attitudes about sex and nudity now.... Strange though that almost all crime dramas etc. on t.v. have people graphicly dying right and left with very little censorship, but consenting adults having sex can not be shown on network television

Great question! I think that there are some people who wouldn't care if they were in public or not, but there are way more people who don't want a ticket for doing something like that. :o)

Because of the society we created over the past thousands of years. Give any intelligent life time and they will make their own rules in their society.
