Increase Server Timeout as below: -
Tools > Accounts [Select the Account & click on "Properties"]
Select Advance Tab & Scroll to increase "Server Timeout"
If failed, check whether you have webmail or not. If have webmail, download mail in txt format & attachement from there. After download, delete the mail; otherwise you'll face further problem to download others mail to Outlook.

Your email provider probably does not support attachments of that size. Have the sender break it up into smaller files or upload it to one of the free file hosting sites like www.rapidshare.de

Your ISP may have a file size cap. You may be on dialup but havent provided that info, details are a nice thing to provide....

I dont think that it will allow a DL of that size, Have whoever is sending it, Just drop it in a YIM.
