Ive always believed that a couples problems should not affect other relationships it also depends how long you'd been together, and if that love is there for your nieces/nephews and they feel the same way why break it up? and you will come out the other side believe me. all the best

No, because you only had these titles due to marriage. Once divorced (not separated) this will no longer apply. However, it doesn't stop you calling yourself whatever you want to, particularly if they agree to you doing so. Good luck 'coming out the other side' - been there, done that, got the t-shirt etc. etc.!!!!

Ya! off course you are still and Uncle. A seperation does not stop you from being an uncle.

If both parties agree then definitely so...after all its for the children. The word won't mean much though if you do not participate in some way in their lives. It doesn't take much...remember their birthdays and let them know you love them.

I suppose it depends on how your families feel.
My sister is going through her 3rd divorce and we tend not to stay in contact with her ex husbands, even though she has children with them.

Of course you are - you will always be biologically, no matter the distance or what a piece of paper says.
