I mowed the lawn last night. Took it down to the root. It was really overgrown, but the power-trimmer makes too much noise. The manual trimmer was necessary - couldn't wake the kids, you know. Soon needed the finer-blade for the detail work.
After all that trimming, it really needed some attention, so I reseeded it.

I mow my lawn about every 5 days and keep the height up high (about 3 in.) I have St. Augustine grass. This helps keep my lawn thick, green and healthy.
