He is a populist. Most politicians have to kind of "float" on top of public opinion in the middle-east, because the opinions are controlled largely by the clergy.
Of course he seems to have strong convictions about Iran being of equal worth to other countries, and should have the right to nuclear power.
It's a cheap solution for him to talk about "wiping out" Israel... It appeases the crowds. But what are his actual policies on the matter?

Seems like a likable guy, who just wants to push the Jews into the sea. Gosh, why can't the U.S. just learn to respect the opinions of others? Some do want to kill all the Jews, and some don't. Some do want to spread totalitarian Islam worldwide at the point of a sword, and some would like liberty to spread. You like tomayto, I like tomauto.
