- If everybody did it...would it still be ok?

So just like Jesus, we can all go around not sinning, and let the species end because no one had sexual congress.

We MUST have sex!

I am not saying sex is a sin! (now who's misguided?)
I am not criticizing! (now who's criticizing?)

My one and only (very simple) question is...well, may I suggest reading it without head-butting the computer screen?
I know that when people say "Jesus" and "sex" in the same sentence, muscles ripple, nostrils flair and forehead veins buldge. But jeez(us) think for once.

And no, sorry, there is no "choice" in the matter. There is only one way - for everybody to do as Jesus (be "ethical" and bear no children) - JUST exactly as Jesus did.
THAT is the question. Is THAT ethical - to let the human species become extinct?

Yes, I know we're still here and this is just one example pulled from thin air. The heart of the question is not about Jesus or sex; but what is ethical?
There is the heart of the question, and there is the example. You may answer either... intelligently, please.

If Christianity forbids sex until marriage, how did Adam and Even have sex without committing a mortal sin? There were no members of the clergy present to perform the wedding ceremony. Bear in mind that the Bible is a book of writings, letters, stories, etc., compiled by man with the goal to unify the Christian religions with some common beliefs. A group of men gathered and chose which writings, letters, and stories to include, and which ones to exclude. If you read some of the excluded material, much of what many believe as fundamentals of Christianity have contradicting passages. Since a group of men gathered to compile this standardized book, the men took it upon themselves to decide what human behaviors to declare sins. Many people literally believe that God wrote the Bible, and this just is not the case. Any Catholic priest who studied the historical significance of the Bible should tell you this.

Marriage is an institute of government and not of religion. If the opposite were true, then religions would control our government more so than they do already.

Good luck!

Jesus never said "don't have sex". Paul said it is better not to marry if you can help it so that your time can be spent learning about Jesus but if you have to have sex then you should marry.

Sex is a gift from God to married couples. You can still be Christ-like and have sex...only if you're married and it is to the one you are married.

hmmm....

Well, Jesus didn't force anyone to be like him. Only those who wanted to.

If you didn't want to, you were still free to choose to marry and all that stuff. No problem with Jesus.
