Green shirt or green hat seems unusual. The person could have different/unusual tastes, esp. in dressing. But a person who likes green not necessary wears green.
If a person likes green, he/she may like nature, and/or like to be at peace with others etc. He/she may find green very refreshing for them that their eyes will light up with delight.

Green is cool....green always reminds me of my best friend, because her favorite color is green and she used to dress in it from head to toe on occasion. So if I see someone wearing green, I'd think they're probably pretty cool, and I'd want to steal their green clothes, because I like green :)

i think about Saint Patrick's Day and how that must be their favorite color. And then i think about what if the person was in a gang. But usually something like that wouldn't bother me.
