Yesterday I was in the most unbearable pain i have ever experienced. It felt like period cramps x 1000! I could not walk or breath. In the 9 years i've had my period, it has NEVER felt anything close to this! I started bleeding so much, was like water rushing out of a tap. I have taken emergancy EC after the last time i had unprotected sex with my partner,(this is the first time i'm having my period after the EC) but it does not work after fertilization has taken place. Could this immense pain i'm going through be the effect of the EC or could it be that fertilization has taken place and that i had a miscarriage? People who has gone through this, please help! I can handle intense pain, normal people cant, without pain killers, but this pain i experienced, was beyond normal pain.

Sounds like it was a miscarriage. There is really no way of knowing. Unless you go to a doctor and by then it'll probably be too late to tell.
I had one a few years back....I was in pain all night and even took some codiene and that didn't lessen the pain anybit. I had HUGE blood clots and super bad cramps. But with you takin that EC i'm thinkin it's a sureshot that it was a miscarriage.

If you were/are in that much pain why in the world didn't you go to the Dr/ER? If you did have a miscarriage you should get checked out because if everything isnt "out" and that could screw with your chances having a kid later on in life or just give you health problems (assuming you want kids... not sure on that because of the EC)

This definitely sounds like a miscarriage to me. Most of the time, the body will take care of itself, but you should see a doctor to make sure that you don't need a D&C. If the bleeding doesnt slow down within a few days, I would encourage you to see someone soon. Take care!

I am sorry. It sounds like a miscarriage. You could also have a huge cyst or cysts on your ovaries. If they get too big they can cut off circulation to the ovaries causing them to rupture. See a doctor. Get to the Emergency Room Fast! You need an ultra sound, exam, and blood work done!

Definitely sounds like a possible miscarriage, you need to get into a ER immediately there are high risks of infections and bacteria that can screw your symptoms up.. I am a pediatric nurse I have been for 13 years and had seen young girls have the same symptoms you do so please I advise you get some help ..

Well I have taken the emergency contraception before and never experienced any pain....I really think you may have had a misscarrage. You should see your doctor to do a pelvic exam...

I have taken emergency contraception twice and didn't experience anything like you are describing. Call your ob/gyn's emergency number and talk to someone right away. What you're describing is definitely a problem.
