Astrology is so important but it is much more involved than the little horoscope paragraphs in magazines. Most of those are just cheesy. Truly informative astrology involves planetary movements that are taking place and how that affects YOUR chart (the placements of your own planets in your birth chart and their relationships to each other). None of us are simply a sun sign alone such as Libra, Leo, etc. We have other important placements such as our moon, Venus, Mars, etc.

Also, predicting your future through astrology is tricky. Reputable astrologists will usually let you know what the planetary action is going to be for a period of time and will let you know how that may "likely" affect you. For instance, it is not good to make important decisions during an eclipse. If you know that you are in the middle of one and are about to make a big purchase, etc., astrology can help you wait until after the eclipse so that you can focus on that decision better. So, astrology does not really "mandate" your life. Rather, it is just a very helpful guide! Once you get more involved, the accuracy might even make you nervous. :) (In a good way of course!)

If you want some REALLY interesting reading, go to Susan Miller's awesome website at www.astrologyzone.com. Her stuff is really good and has lots of free things. My other favorite site is www.astro.com. If you can find your birth certificate and get your birth time, you can get free charts and readings that are amazing! You will see how informative and helpful that it can be in your life.

The stars are there for a reason...don't let anyone scare you about astrology. It's more on the level than most know--just seek out valid sources (and have some fun!).

I wish it was, then I'd be getting the guys I want! I'm a gemini on the cusp of taurus, and that description is pretty accurate of me though.
