yes a diabetic can eat water melon but ALL fruit contains natural sugars & will increses the patients glucose levels....

I know that watermelons contain a high amount of sugar, however, its natural sugar, not the kind of sugar in candy. And I have also heard that it does increase your sugar level if too much is consumed. I suggest calling your physician or a nutritionist to get a more professional answer.

Water melon is okay because its not that sweet but about 1 -2 cupfuls is as far as you should go.

I would ask the doctor everyone's body different.Maybe if the person eats the watermelon you can test the level after and see if it gets to high.

yes it does make your sugar rise my father has diabetes and was advised not to eat much of it

if you have diabetiesII use "Alpha lipoic acid " 300mg
if you have diabetiesII you will also have high blood preassure,also
need to use daily "Fish oil"(pills from Wal Mart)3000mg
