lol funny question, my suggestion to you is to invite him to do something fun that includes him getting some excercise, on occasion that way you dont make him mad by calling him a fat. Invite him to the gym with you is also a good idea.... sometimes there isnt much you can do. but that would be my suggestion

First, your dad being a father, and at 210 lbs isn't really that fat. I am not yet a father but i already weigh the same as your dad.

Why do you worry with your dad's weight at his age? If is has something to do with his physical well being, then you need to suggest for him to get into physical activities that will shed off those pounds.

The decision for him to lose weight is not entirely yours, but his to make. Unless otherwise he is diagnosed with sickness where weight could further implicate his physical well being, then all you could do is talk to him about it.

If he sees himself perfectly fit for his current weight, and as long as it doesn't have any negative impact on his health, then I suggest you let him be as he is.

On the other hand, if he is suffering from any disease and weight is really an issue, and he is being hard headed about the doctor's advise, then you can slightly prod him into doing things that will make him survive longer and not continue on bad habits that will kill him sooner.

You don't have to take him to the gym, you don't have to give him food till he dies, or just wait till he suffers from heart attack.

I will only advise you to administer new diet to him if he was diagnosed by a licensed dietician, and he needs to strictly follow that regimen.

Be good to him, dads are unique in their own ways and you don't get to have another one when they disappear.

First get him a new diet with lower calories and fat and have him see a doctor and find out if he is ok to do alot of excersize. If he is ok, then have him swim laps in a pool or have him go on the eliptical machine every day or two, he is 210 pounds and jogging will likely bust up his knees

Sweetheart, you can speak to him from the heart and tell him you love him and don't want to lose him but unless your dad perceives his weight as a problem, there's nothing you CAN do.

Get him started by walking around the block with him. Show him you care, be supportive, motivate him "nicely". Pushing him with harsh words will only backfire!!!
