Check the resolution.. Right click on the desktop and click on properties. Press the settings tab, and check the resolution!! You can try to set it at 1024*768. - See what happens..

I am willing to bet you inadvertently changed your screen resolution. Before I can help you, I will need to know if you have a laptop or a desktop. What make/brand and model number, as well so I can give you a precise answer.
In the meantime, try this and see if it works:
1) Minimize/Exit all the windows.
2) Right click anywhere on the wallpaper on the desktop.
3) Click on PROPERTIES.
4) You will see different tabs, like THEME, DESKTOP etc.
5) Click on the SETTINGS (or the last one).
6) Select the Screen Resolution to 1024 X 768 and click on APPLY. Acknowledge the message by clicking OK. (If everything starts looking too small, select 800 X 600).
7) Click OK
Hope this helps. If it did, have a nice day and help my earn some points. Thanks.

I'm assuming that you are using Windows XP. Please follow the steps.
1. Right click on your desktop.
2. Select properties from pop up menu
3. A new window will open called display properties click on appearance tab
4. You will find a option called font size select normal from the drop down menu.
