You shouldn't even be cheating. A lot of men, if not all, go through mid-life crises and not all of them cheat. they know how to handle the situation and know how to seek and value their spouse's advice. if the subject of the problem can't do this, then i suggest getting help... or something. cheating just shouldn't be an option at all. marriage was made so that two people would be together with each other until death. why is it that everyone's so carefree about that fact now?
anyway, to answer your question, i guess once.

In many marriages cheating is the weak persons way of bringing the marriage to an end. They are weak as they lack skills to to be honest and open about themselves. They prefer to sneak around, lying cheating and stealing.
So the answer is that cheating is never allowed in a real marriage.

I would end the relationship before cheating became an option.

1x............once you cheat, your marriage can be over....than you're no longer in a midlife crisis.....you are then in divorce court.....think before you act..try working things out first.....if you have to cheat, theres no sense in being together

I'd say a couple of times. Of course that's assuming you don't get caught the first time. The first time is really just a warm up.
