We call this the "C.S.C" (cant sleep club) and welcome to it. I get S.B.S. sitting here(sore bum syndrome). I have major things to do 2morrow as well and cant sleep yet again. Im sick of tv, my dog is snoring and my husband is still at work, so here I am in the club.Compared to daytime, the people r really diff on here at nite. Good Luck in your class 2morrow, oh and try to eat a bannana b4 bed, it helps 2 make u drowzy. Nite!

I've got one word for you, Jess, Melatonin. Get a bottle at the drug store or health food store. It's a hormone that you produce naturally to help you sleep. I've used it for a year or so and it has been a life saver. Start with 1 mg. tablets and after a week or two you can take 3 or 5 mg tablets if you need it. But at first start with 1 mg as more might give you nightmares until you are used to it. Good luck.

If you really need to sleep take Valerian tea
a herb available from most Health Food stores
For me just a little knocks me out like a light!
When I first took it I used too much for me and
I slept for 28 hours! I woke up cause I was hungry! So if you try Valerian try just a little first.. you don't want to miss your class do you?
In the morning after you wake.. if you feel too groggy from taking Valerian... then take Vervain
to be alert in the morning! Don't take these herbs too often! Because if you do you may be come immune to them and then you'd really have a problem if you can't sleep!

Stop doing drugs. Just joking I like to take a sleep aid from one of the dollar general stores or discount ones. They seem to work a lot better than the higher priced pills. Work out till you feel light headed take a hot shower and read the National News.

I will try to let my body sel-adjust first. If the situation persists more than three days and I am really tired, I will take a small doage of relaxant prescripted by my doctor. This medicine won't put you in deep sleep. You will feel great next morning.

I'm starting my first day of school tomorrow too. It's kinda late, but I can't sleep either. It's okay, I guess this is normal. I always feel like this when it's the first day. Don't worry, you'll be back to normal once you're adapted to the whole school days.

Yep. I just took some Benadryl so I won't have that problem for too much longer. Since you have to get up in the morning you might try a glass of warm milk or some chamomile tea.
