While Indian Team is capable of liftingthe world cup 2007 if they play to their potential, there are other teams such as Australia,
South Africa, England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and New Zeland who are capable of creating upset. In one day cricket no one can definitely predict the result of a tournament in advance. It all boils down to the performance of particular team on the particular day. The team who play to their potential consistently deseres to win the world cup 2007.

2007...no way. They had their best chance in 2003. It was the best I have seen India played in many years. They beat Australia in India and also in Australia during those days. But since then guys like Ganguly and Sachin has lost their touches and we stand very little chance of making it in 2007. We all saw how India lost to a lowly WI in the last tour.

Definitely.
Chappel's coaching will play the major role if India has to win the WC 2007.

Most likely blue mens are India & Sri Lanka

But former will struggle to bowl in WI turf and did struggled in the last series against a weak WI and lost the ODI series but later has good bowling attack as well as batsmen are capable to bat against pace attack infact they loves to bat for pace bowlers...

yeah . but still difficult because:
1> it will be tough facing teams like si lanka, w indies, australia, south africa & even england, pakistan & n zeland. this teams have grown up well in the last yeares that can add prssure on the indians. indians should have the advance ove rit but still. favcing australia is very tough. they are the leaders. but still the indians can do it. how south africa def them in the 1st 2nd & 5th (hstoric 1-wicket win) in south africa itself. even when they were bowled out for 165 in the match agains tengland.
other fac tors are that ind have record loosing to ban, zim, etc. thridly, indians lost to wi 4-1 in wes tindies & fourthly their combination should matter.
