Chemistry is when you have a speacial bond and feelings, you are "naturally" on the same wave length humor wise, intelectually, physically, you enjoy being around someone. can not wait to see or talk to them again and gain, they put a smile on your face, and hit it off on feelings for each other without having to make an effort or try hard. It is either there or not. It can not be worked at or be faked.
Love at first site is purley a physical attraction of the looks only if the chemistry is not there and will not be a long lived relationship.

Hi, for me.. it is not base on how long you've known one person.. its how you know the person and what you know about the person... learning how to trust each other will be a good start of chemistry...
well, if you started off as friends,,, measure the level of friendship you have in the present and think if its better to put the freindship into next level,...
there is no such thing as lve at first sight...

Once and for all?!? That will never happen. No one ultimately knows. Chemistry is based on experiences, hormones, pharamones, past lives perhaps. There is too much to figure in it.
Yes, there is foundation of friendship for it to be a stronger relationship, but I have always believed in the spark. I always needed the spark, or it feels like when you are kissing the person, its like you are kissing a wet eel. GROSS.
I have no answers but like it when it comes along, I learn from it, do my best and if it lasts and you know that you have to work on it still to be considerate and genuine, giving and supportive... then I will be happy to have this person on my side, by my side, doing the same things for me.

chemistry means that the two of you "mesh well together" also, means get along great. love at first sight usually does go pretty fast, only because it's simple attraction. chemistry is wayyyyy better!
