I have! Like when this kid was carrying her puppy upside down by it's hind legs, then throwing it off the porch and down the slide. When approached, her grandmother said "I told her not too, but what can ya do?" Well, for starters, MAKE her listen. That's what is wrong today, instead of correcting a bad behavior, parents have some excuse as to why the don't or can't control their children. When I was a kid if my parents told me once, that was enough. I myself have children, and recieve alot of praise for their manners, somehow I manage. It's a simple case of laziness and lack of priorities. Do things like this get to you, too?

No, but I have seen stupid parents that leave kids in cars by themselves. Quite frankly this is slack. Especially if the weather is quite warm. That is when I would like to slap the parents for being irresponsible

Yes and what REALLY pisses me off is when people like that keep popping kids out, when I have worked with SED, disabled and normal kids all my life, yet I can not have kids of my own.
It really makes me think about fixing people at birth and having to apply for a license to get it reversed when you prove yourself to be emotionally and financially stable enough to be a parent.
I mean, FFS...you have to take a test to get a drivers license, go through years of school to get a diploma/degree, you even have to sign a piece of paper to vote, yet any 14 yr old can have a kid.

Yes, it used to just be the kids, now I see the parents totally disrespectful of others or their own safety too. What's happening?
Makes me furious when a child gets killed & you just know the parent wasn't taking proper precautions.

I was the same as you when I was a child. There were dire consequences that you don't see very often these days.

If you mean smack them with verbal comment, than yes, but you get use to it. Especially when you see what some kids need to deal with. Welcome to one generation produces another. If you say your kid did so and so there are number of reasons they will do nothing or opposite your request. Say your concerned about the puppy's well being.

Yeah, it drives me nuts, too. I see children (alone, no parent in sight) just running into the street, not even looking to see if a car is coming.
