The best band of the 20th would be the White Stripes. Its amazing how loud and good they are with only 2 people, and their lyrics are great. They are not into the typical songs that say "im sorry" or "i really love you", and are very unique with their song topics. Jack Whites vocals are amazing, and go great with the chords he plays on the guitar. The most famous band of the 20th is the beatles, because of they extreme mainstream success.

Mean mean question. I can't say who is the best because to many great bands have inspired the world. I can say that I think rock music from sixties and seventies altogether is the best because any of the bands or rockers I could name would be from this era in music.

the beatles of course, they brought modern music to its best ,by being of quality they made other bands excel in their own fashionlike the rolling stones,,queen, kinks, moody blues, gerry and the pacemakers, led zepelin , t rex, bread, pink floyd, and so on,where as we had crap like the 50s so called rock, they inspired the whole world not just a country, the 60s and early 70s were the most amazing period of quality music, more than you can say for the last 10 years or so of pure rubbish music,

Stones. 40 years of memorable riffs. They inspired me. Ha. Anyway, I've liked them since I started buying their records (vinyl).

There probably are more tongue tattoos than any other band logo. (my opinion but it sounds realistic)
