I had my tubes tied after I lost a baby at 7 months.I was so afraid it would happen again that I had them tied. Now I have been with my b/f for 5 years and he has no children. We are wanting to get them untied but the places I have found where we live is $5500.00 to $7500.00.Is there anything we can buy or and cheaper place that can help us.We prey every night before we go to sleep. When I am late on my period,we just know that is why. Then, surprise,i'm here.Like now,I am 2 weeks late. The past couple of times we had sex,I spotted.I thought I was going to start my period that night but I didn't.My breast are sore and I eat constantly.I only weigh 120 lbs.It is noticable when I put on a couple extra pounds.I just know we have our hopes up again.
Anyone with some serious advice?????

Well, I could repeat what my Mom always said, "You get what you pay for." If you go to some hack who'll do it for a case of beer, you're gonna get someone who's capable of doing something for a case of beer. Are they going to do it right? Who knows? I'd get this procedure done by a reputable surgeon who knows what they're doing. Save your pennies, it'll pay off in the long run.

For the record, my Mom had three miscarriages before she had me. And two more before she had my brother. But she kept trying. We're kinda glad she did. I hope your kids can say that about you some day.

Good Luck!

The number one thing I am concerned with is you really do not want to get pregnant in this condition. You are putting yourself at risk for a etopical pregnancy.(In your tubes) That is the worse thing that can ever happen and dangerous. You should go to your OBGYN and discuss your plans. He or she can probably work something out with your insurance so they can pay for most of it. Or check in another stat it could be cheaper BUT>>> like previously stated the cheaper the worse the outcome could be. Seriously I think you should stop tring while they are tied because another result other than loosing your life is you will have to get a tube removed and that would be even harder to get pregnant. GOOD LUCK!

If you had your tubes tied, I would almost guarantee that you are not pregnant or going to achieve a pregnancy unless you have in vitro done. That is the point of getting your tubes tied. I would seek a fertility specialist, I know it is costly but it is really the only way you are going to get pregnant. Good luck!

if you think you may be pregnant, have blood work done at the hospital to confirm it. Otherwise...tied tubes are really just severed tubes seutured and seperate inside you. Unless the doctors did a sloppy job you probably won't conceive without surgical correction. I'm sorry.
