Don´t loose your faith.
It is true that some people that use this forum are empty minded, but I can assure you that there is a considerable amount of very smart people taking a valuable time answering questions here, like me.
I also get a lot of stupid answers, but there always are others that stand for the intelligent people who walk this earth, and that keeps me on going....

Sometimes, it depends HOW you ask the question. Do not ask a question in a way that encourages flippant or silly answers. Ask for specifics. Use adult language and any appropriate technical language (i.e., jargon). State that you want serious answers only. Remember that only one in ten answers may be useful, and accept that.

1. Your questions may be too trivial.
2. The way you wrote your questions affected the way we answered. You probably get us to think another way, not to your point.
3. A lot of answerers mind only the points, not the contents of their answers.

...that means you have prefixed the answer in your mind.
...that means you are confused and your questions reflect the confusion and the answerer are getting confused.
....that means your questions are multi-layered and people reflect in various ways.
And if it is a waste of time, don't waste it anymore.
