my altima has been dying while in park after being on for about 5mins and dies at a stop after driving around the block. it seems to have a studder and be hesitant when giving gas and when letting off the gas. about a month ago my CAI suckt in some water (hydrolock). i cleaned out everything the same day it happen and replaced MAF got a new battery, new spark plugs and have given it 2 oil changes so far and ofcourse ive used fuel injector cleaners. ive askt around and have gotten nowhere really but i have gotten 2 maybe's: trottle position sensor and the knock sensor. can anyone give me a answer on what it could be. PLEASE HELP ive been without my car for a month! and so far have spent about 500$

if it is the TPS can you let me know where i can get one besides the dealership. they expect for me to buy the full throttle body +the sensor for 700$!! they said they dont sell that sensor by itself.. total BS.!? think a junkyard would be a good idea?

take off the distributor car, then remove the rotor, then pull the round black plastic cover out SLIGHTLY. Does Engine oil pour out of your Distributor.?
If so your problem is a bad Distributor. Replace it with a Rebuilt one from Nissan.
A temp fix is to buy electrical contact cleaner and clean ALL the oil out of the distributor

after useing fuel conditinor did u change your fuel filter sounds like ur engine is starving 4 fuel its cheap to try it

have you ever thought that the converter is plugged cause if it is the back pressure will do the same
