Well what is science? often we think of it as chemistry, physics and biology... so

Chemistry in the kitchen...for example there are solids, liquids and gases in the kitchen... you might use gas for cooking, you might use salt in your dinner, that is an example of chemical called NaCl or sodium chloride.

Physics... is really about how things move, for example friction helps us stand up, lack of friction means we slip over. Using a can opener is a kind of lever and uses forces.

Biology... any living creatures, your body for example, there might be bacteria that cause diseases for example.

Technology... is really about tools and devices we use to control the science things above, often to store things or transfer things. For example technologies for transfering sounds might be telephone, a CD player. microwave oven transforms electricity into microwaves that can cook food.

Those are a few ideas, check the source below for some other ideas.

There are several approaches you can take. One would be about science and technology providing new materials. One example would be plastics. List the items used almost everyday which are made of plastic. Plastics are also used in some paints and fabrics.

You might also talk about energy (such as electricity or petroleum). List everything that uses electricity that would be missing without science and technology. Also the automobile.

Another good area is medical and health. List things like dental care that were not possible before: Antibiotics, vitamins, food storage.
