I took a class this summer and the teacher accused me of plagiarism. She sent me an email and also sent the email to the head of my program and the registrar. I did do poor citations which i had done on the first two assignments and she gave me A on both of those. Anyways I got all As on every assignment after she told me the proper citation methods. Now the class is over. She wrote to me and said I had a bright future and she was concerned I was going to burnout becuase she could tell I spent alot of time on the class.
Would you contact your advisor over this or forget about it? I am concerned how she will be if I ever have her again.
Thanks.

Most definitely contact your advisor! It could cost you your degree/education. Plagiarism is nothing to fool with. I would try to prove that you did not plagiarize (I hope you didn't) and that you just did poor citation. Maybe because she was easy on you the first few times and after showing you the proper way, you should have done it to her standards (or close to it). Did you ask her for help, if you still didn't understand how to citate? I hope you get this straigthened out. Please don't wait! It may go on your permanent record and could go against you getting a job. Good luck!!

Well, you did plagarize. I would ask her to email your advisor with an update of your progress. Your "head of program" will play a critical role in your college years, and you need to be on the up and up with he/she. Also, the registrar needs to know. If you are ever nominated or granted a scholarship, it could be revoked based on the plagarism. Just ask the teacher to send a follow up letter to the registrar and head of program so that you have this information in your records...God forbid, your summer teacher leaves the school and you come up for review and there is no way to back yourself up...

you have got an possibility on the top of the semester to fill out an nameless questionnaire for the college (maximum colleges try this...) yet interior the propose time, he ought to make himself greater attainable to you. Is he going back to his place of work while he leaves? i think of that he fairly ought to hold close around for slightly longer exceedingly after he lectures. Is every physique else having the comparable problem as you're? i think of you could properly circulate communicate this with somebody on the better end - possibly they would recognize your privateness and enable the instructor comprehend that scholars are certainly inquiring for that he be interior the lecture room greater. perhaps he's making an attempt to get all the scholars to kindof artwork mutually to discern issues out? stable luck

be concern on how you could maintain the image you've made to her if ever you have her as a professor again. remember, earning top grades creates great expectations to those who have witness it.

about the claim of you burning out, i don't think so... when you're good, you're good... and when you're at you're best, you're far better. burning out is just a sorry tale of excuses created to reason out the faltering on these expectations. the earmark of excellence is ambiguous to the fact that one's greatest achievement creates higher than usual expectations. just stay on track and never lose your way. don't swerve away to the path or road you've trek. focus on succeeding. but also, try to live up to your best... anyway, you're still a long way. still in college, right? just concentrate on doing your very best.... good luck

IN RESPONSE TO WHAT YOU SAID TO ME:

No, I don't think you should tell me to tell my parents. Just because I'm asking what the bases are doesn't mean I'm saying I WANNA HAVE SEX AND GET AIDS AND DIE.

So shut the **** up wouldja.
