ok this is how i make mine. i had to do it for a school project:

The tunic (ABCD) is first folded horizontally along the line EF, so that AB falls to A'B'. It is then folded along the vertical line GKH. Next, the garment is adjusted with the rectangle EGHD covering the front of the body, and GFCH covering the back. M comes together with M' and is fastened to it with a brooch at the right shoulder, and N comes together with N' and is fastened to it with a brooch at the left shoulder, so that the corners E and G fall a little lower than the girdle (in ancient usage, a girdle was a belt or sash, not an ugly elastic corset) in front, and A' and K fall to the hips. A short slit (say, from G to K) is cut down from the left shoulder so as to leave the left arm free. Finally, the extra foot or so of length is drawn up over the girdle, over which it may fall in the elegant folds seen in the Maidens on the south porch of the Erechtheum, and in those of the East frieze of the Parthenon (Note: the girdle or sash could also be worn on the outside, to better accentuate the slender waist of the wearer, as shown in the first illustration, above.) The same effect can be achieved by making the main body of the chiton from one piece of cloth and the cape from another piece. From the right hip down, the two edges might be sewed together or buttoned, or, for use as a home negligee, it might be left open in the manner of those naughty "thigh-exposing" Spartan women. As yet another option, above the hip enough of the material of the cape section might be drawn together with lacings or buttons so as to make a kind of half-sleeve. Or the fold at EF might be made so much lower that there would be no superfluous length in the skirt to be gathered in folds over the girdle. If fashioned from a shorter piece of cloth, the skirt section becomes more nearly the same length as the cape section, and shorter

Go to the local fabric store. They have designs in the pattern catalogs to choose from. On the back of the envelopes, they tell you how much fabric you need for each design. Then pick out whichever fabric you like.

Go nude and hold a bunch of grapes. That's the perfect look of a Greek Goddess.
