Stop doing what you were doing up until now, and do everything differently. Change the place you live at, meet new people, go to different places, start reading different books, ... travel! That's always good, but it doesn't necessarily bring enlightenment...

Think about what things really tick you off in life...
Is it racism? sexism? domestic violence? animal cruelty? pollution? world poverty? etc.
If you've ever been outraged about something, then that is the track you should follow.
If you get involved in a cause you believe in, it WILL change your life because you will be fighting for positive change.
You are here on Earth, which automatically means you can make a difference.

Move. Out of the country if you can. But at least try to get out of town or on the other side or something! You'll find that friends change, routines change, a whole lot changes!

Concentrate and try to remove all prejudices, traditions and beliefs from your mind. Imagine your heaven and since no one can be in your brain, do not fear to imagine everything you want. then ask yourself whether living in this heaven will ever get bored or whether it is really the correct and good life. alter your heaven till you find the perfect one and then compare it with your life, try to change the parts which contradict with your heaven at most. hope it works ;)
